Orynx ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Antardasha mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name and email address when you sign in via Google or Apple Sign-In.
• Birth Profile Data: Name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and gender — required for generating astrological charts and analysis.

b) Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: Precise GPS location (with your permission) for Panchang calculations, Muhurta timings, and sunrise/sunset data. Location is used only for computation and is not stored on our servers.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and ad delivery.
• Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data collected via Firebase to improve app stability.
• Advertising Identifier: Ad ID used by Google AdMob for personalized advertisements. This is disabled for premium subscribers.

c) Camera and Photo Data

• Camera Access: Used for Samudrik Shastra (palm reading, face reading, body mark analysis). Photos are processed for analysis and are not stored on our servers.
• Photo Library: You may select existing photos for body reading analysis. These are processed locally and not uploaded.
• Face ID / Face Geometry: Optional 3D face geometry data used for enhanced face readings. This data is processed on-device and never transmitted to our servers.

d) Push Notification Data

• Device tokens for delivering Panchang alerts, Rahu Kaal notifications, and Dasha change reminders.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate accurate Vedic astrological charts, Dasha analysis, compatibility reports, and horoscopes.
• Provide location-based Panchang and Muhurta calculations.
• Deliver personalized push notifications for daily Panchang and auspicious timings.
• Process Samudrik Shastra readings from your photos.
• Display relevant advertisements (free tier users only).
• Monitor app performance and fix issues via crash analytics.
• Sync your birth profiles securely across devices (if signed in).

3. Data Storage and Security

• Birth profile data is encrypted and stored locally on your device using secure storage.
• If you sign in, profile data is synced to our cloud servers (encrypted in transit and at rest) to enable cross-device access.
• Photos and face geometry data are processed on-device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data transmissions.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, cloud messaging, and crash analytics.
• Google AdMob: Advertising for free-tier users. Disabled for premium subscribers.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: Authentication services.
• MapmyIndia (Mappls): Geocoding services for location-based calculations.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following cases:

• With third-party service providers listed above, strictly for app functionality.
• If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• To protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings within the app.
• Guest Mode: You may use the app without signing in. No account data is collected in guest mode.
• Location Permission: You can revoke location access at any time from your device settings. Some features (Panchang, Muhurta) will require manual location entry.
• Camera Permission: You can revoke camera access at any time. Samudrik Shastra features will be unavailable without it.
• Ad Tracking: On iOS, you will be prompted via App Tracking Transparency before any ad tracking. You can opt out at any time.
• Push Notifications: You can disable notifications from your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Antardasha is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. International Data Compliance

• GDPR (EU): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Use the account deletion feature or contact us.
• CCPA (California): We do not sell personal information. You may request disclosure of data collected about you.
• India DPDP Act 2023: Birth data is processed solely for astrological calculations. You have full control over your data, including deletion.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
